What Your First Year Looks Like
Crossover
You cross over into the troop and get placed in a patrol.
Settling In
The first couple months are about getting comfortable — learning names, routines, and how your patrol runs.
Scout Rank
You'll pick up Scout rank early on, mostly just by showing up and getting involved.
First Campouts
A few campouts in, and it starts to click — this is where the actual fun happens.
First Summer Camp
By summer, you're at a week-long camp with the troop, earning your first merit badges.
Advancement
Working toward Tenderfoot and Second Class alongside your patrol, at your own pace.
